Podcast Episode 357: Survivor Series & NXT WarGames Preview

What a crazy couple of days in WWE!

Becky Lynch becomes an ICON. Then she’s out of the match at Survivor Series. That may end up catapulting her to main event status at the grandest stage of them all. Crazy, huh?

Then Daniel Bryan wins the WWE Championship. Except, he does it in nefarious fashion. Are we okay with this? We barely have time to process it prior to the big match against Brock Lesnar.

WarGames and Survivor Series look like they’re going to be a LOT of fun, and we have a LOT of fun discussing it.

Featuring: ‘Super Jew’ Jared (@SuperJew75), ‘The Mayor of Reseda’ Derek (@cap_kaveman), and Joshua Schlag (@thesteelcage / @schlizzag).

…and the Mat Mania Podcast (@MatManiaPodcast) Crew: Teek Hall (@Teek_Hall), Roknowledge (@Roknowledge), NeoEcks (@theneoecks), and Mega Ran (@MegaRan)!

Podcast Episode 356: Bro.

We’re living in a different world, folks. WWE puts out a minimum of 8 hours each week of original in-ring wrestling content. When special events like the Mae Young Classic or Mixed Match Challenge are going on, that goes up a couple. When there’s a PPV, we’re pushing 20 hours that week. It’s INSANE.

But it’s not a bad thing. It just means a lot of us have to change the way we consume the product. And frankly, not watching all of it is okay. We delve into that a bit this week, and we talk a LOT about NXT (sorry not sorry, Sprung). If you just want to catch our feelings on RAW / SD / Survivor Series, you could probably skip the first hour – but I’d really recommend you catch up on the yellow brand and give the whole thing a listen.

And then, let us know what kind of a viewer you are. We’re curious what our fellow fans are doing as we continue to move into this new era of WWE everything.

Featuring:  ‘The Mayor of Reseda’ Derek Montilla (@cap_kaveman) and Joshua Schlag (@thesteelcage / @schlizzag).

Music by The Black Furies, courtesy of Music Alley.
