Derek and Tim Eat Snacks Ep. 6: Ants On A Log

On this episode of the DATEScast, the constant snacking variations and novelties have made our heroes Derek and Tim long for a simpler time when snacking was wholesome, healthy, and not about name brand recognition.  This journey led our snackologists down a dark path of discovery about bands their wives made them hate to the doorway of the classic childhood snack, Ants on a Log.

Spoiler Alert: Tim hates celery.

Featuring: Derek Montilla (@cap_kaveman) & Tim Agne (@timagne)

Podcast Episode 291: Is Cena Okay? Is Bayley Okay?

Man, I love getting worked. But I hate when the wrestlers I love to watch actually get injured. Time will tell how this week shakes out.

Regardless, RAW was fine but 100% skippable. SmackDown Live brought it, as expected. KO / AJ again? Cena / Nakamura for the first time ever? And heyyy Chad Gable! Yassssss!!

Featuring: Joshua Schlag (@thesteelcage / @schlizzag), ‘The Mayor of Reseda’ Derek (@cap_kaveman), ‘Super Jew’ Jared (@SuperJew75), and ‘The Beast from the Middle East’ Darrell Johnson (@zazzumplop).

Unfunny Nerd Tangent 24: GLOW

GLOW: a new Netflix series based not only on wrestling, but women’s wrestling in the 1980s? Of course we’d do a show about it. How could we not?

The UNT team climbs the turnbuckle, slaps on the glitter and tightens our weaves, as we review and rate the highs and lows of GLOW’s first season, pondering how it compares to such classics as Seinfeld, Cheers and MASH, all the while asking the now-immortal question: is Mark Maron even really acting?

Oh, and of course, #UNTpunch.

Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13).

Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@superjew75), ‘Liberty Belle’ ‘She-Wolf’ Florence (@Flaux) and ‘Mayor of Reseda’ Derek Montilla (@cap_kaveman).

Music by: The Scorpions & Roxette.

Podcast Episode 290: Battleground 2017 Results

The dust is beginning to settle from WWE’s Battleground, as we all head towards Brooklyn’s annual wrestling festival of sorts – SummerSlam. Plenty of solid in-ring action (and not so solid action, as well, if we’re being honest) took place this week, but overall we are in high spirits.

SmackDown Live is leading the charge with a nice resurgence. That’s not to say RAW faltered, but it’s nice to see the blue brand doing their thing again (even in the absence of Talking Smack… LONG LIVE SMACKING TALK!!!).

Featuring: Joshua Schlag (@thesteelcage / @schlizzag) and ‘The Mayor of Reseda’ Derek (@cap_kaveman).
